As of  5-01-09 Cahira's  weight is 128 -lbs

Height is 31 inches from the top of the shoulder to the floor

Back is 35 inches from the base of the neck to the beginning of her tail

Tail Length is 29 inches long

May-01-2009 at 9:30am 14 day's before her 6th birthday Cahira Willow passed away from Cancer. This is one of the saddest and hardest days for us,  Willow like all Irish wolfhounds will give so much love to everyone they touch , it's hard to see and know the out come of what was to be. Everything that's ever been written about Irish Wolfhounds is true, that in one day they are this happy, funny, knuckle head  that they are, this is what you love about them and the next day you walk in the door and see something is not right ,they're not at the door to greet you.  You see them trying to come over to you  but you can see and hear the  pain  they're in. they try so hard not to show the pain until the very end. This is their way, true to the Breed of a Irish Wolfhound. This is not fair for them to have such a short life,  with all the Love they show you , I've known many dogs and loved them all but when you had a Irish Wolfhound and they look into your eye's they own you , there is not another thing in this world like it  they make it so clear the need to love and the dedication to be by your side every minute everyday. It's  just  amazing  to share your life with  an Irish  Wolfhound. Willow will always be with us and always in our hearts.

August 9, 2003 Cahira is growing so fast that we had to upgrade her food bowl to the height of 17 inches to help her from not bending over so much and also to avoid BLOAT in not gulping to much air with her food.

Well within 10 months , most of all the rugs in the house are gone and replaced with laminate wood flooring  or Tile  this is a must or should be mandatory for all wolfhound owners if you would like to keep your home in some kind of order.  even if you have a low cut pile indoor-outdoor carpet a wolfhound will turn it into some kind of 1960 shaggadelic looking thing in no time.

Cahira was sleeping on a baby crib mattress but has out grown it now, she well be moving up to a twin mattress  this is what I think, but Cahira Thinks she may just take over my Queen Size Bed and I can Sleep on the Floor ?

May 15th 2006 Cahira is now Three years old, The whole day was planed around her   birthday celebration, she had her favorites to eat. ice cream, cake, and peanut butter sandwiches and some new toys to play with like she really needed  more toys but it was her 3rd Birthday
